Back up as a Service (BaaS)
For even greater peace of mind, we can provide a remote offsite back-up of your Virtual Servers to a secure Data Centre. Service applicable to VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V environments only.
Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS)
A virtual Data Centre (vDC) facility ready to run in a production mode to meet your RPO’s and RTO’s from your Business Continuity plan. The DRaaS requires BaaS and we recommend it in conjunction to our Network Connectivity services to ensure the best possible experience.
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
Computelec provides the core resources you need to run any virtual machine or appliance, including vCPU, RAM and HDD storage requirements, for as long as you like. As your school’s resource requirements grow, simply expand your resource pool or set up another pool altogether. The best part is, you only pay for what you use: So you’re free to dynamically allocate and configure your own custom set of servers, firewalls and appliances.
Skype as a Service (Skype aaS)
Computelec operates a fully featured enterprise deployment of Skype for Business. Unlike other hosted platforms that offer only instant messaging (IM) and presence, we offer a full enterprise voice (PBX replacement) service. The platform operates from local Data Centres, allowing us to deliver a fast, secure and reliable service. Skype for Business fully integrates with the Office suite of products on both Windows and Mac operating systems. Mobile clients are also available for Blackberry, iPhone, Windows Mobile and Android. It’s so great, we use it here!

Network Connectivity
Connectivity is key to ensuring a reliable and secure service. We work with a broad range of carrier services, from Telstra Wholesale and AAPT to Vocus, Big Air, Optus and Pipe, so we can extend your private cloud directly into your school.

We work with you to determine the best infrastructure solution for your school, so you can move some (or all) of your infrastructure straight to the cloud and save not only space but time and money, too.
Co-location
Reduce your management costs and up your uptime with our Co-location facilities, available for Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Perth. Connect back to our Melbourne-based virtual Data Centre for other ECS services.

We’re proud to have successfully migrated over 100 schools to Office 365. Because we know all the pitfalls to avoid, we can ensure a super seamless, streamlined migration every time.
Internet as a Service (Internet aaS)
Because we use up to four internet transit providers, and an even greater number of peering arrangements, Computelec can promise premium Internet connectivity. Internet as a Service is recommended alongside our Network Connectivity service so you’re ‘always on’.
Wireless as a Service (WaaS)
It doesn’t make sense to pay for access points you don’t use. Our Wi-Fi as a Service platform lets you pay per access point, per month, and includes a free controller, so you can manage your wireless profiles and all of your school’s access points with ease (including your guests’ access!)
Security as a Service (Security aaS)
Computelec offers a comprehensive suite of firewall and AV platforms that can be easily integrated with your private cloud platform. We also provide managed firewall and AV services for a range of vendors including Sophos, FortiNet, WatchGuard, MailGuard and Vyatta.

We can create a Virtual Data Centre (VDC) for your school based on:
